Archives of Nethys (Pathfinder 2e)

Archives of Nethys makes Pathfinder Second Edition searchable at the level needed during play. Its categories cover ancestries, classes, feats, skills, equipment, creatures, hazards, spells, actions, conditions, traits, setting material and complete rule sections. Entries link related concepts and identify their source, while a compact GM screen collects frequently consulted material. Preferences can favor remastered rules, change the visual layout or enable a dyslexia-friendly font. The archive operates in partnership with Paizo and is the official online rules reference.

Comprehensiveness creates its own navigation problem. A search result may expose legacy and remastered terminology together, and an adventure entry can contain spoilers despite masking controls. The archive explains rules but does not build a legal character or judge ambiguous table situations automatically. Newly released books may also arrive according to licensing and data-entry schedules. For Pathfinder groups, it is an exceptional authority when the source line and rules era are checked; it should be paired with the group's chosen books and house rulings rather than treated as a silent referee.
